Organic Baby Supplies
Oh boy, you just got an invitation to yet another baby shower in the mail. Relax, it’s going to be fun and there will more than likely be cake. Of course there is the matter of a baby gift. If you don’t have children yourself, it presents a bit of a challenge but baby things are cute and cuddly. You can just pick out something that appeals to you or you may be lucky and the mother will be registered at one of the local department stores. What are waiting for? This invitation is for one your crunchy granola friends. We all have one or more friends who are very environmentally conscious and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. They may be vegetarian or vegan and living the greenest possible lifestyle. Don’t worry you can find organic baby supplies.
Baby clothes are so adorable that even the childless people among us cannot resist the urge to buy some as a gift. It’s kind of like playing dolls. Buy something beautifully handmade of 100% organic cotton or wool. Most department stores or baby specialty shops will have a good selection. There are many small independent companies online that make gorgeous baby clothes that are made from organic fabrics.
Another idea would be to get a diaper pail and fill it with organic cotton diapers, changing pads, natural baby wipes, ointments, and baby oil. You could also pack a diaper bag, organic of course, with biodegradable nappies, organic baby supplies, and disposal bags for times when cloth diapering isn’t practical. If you know the mother plans to use cloth diapers, a few months of diaper service would be a lifesaver. They do have organic options and your friend will be happy that you gave such a thoughtful gift. She will be doubly appreciative that you respect her sensibilities whether you agree with them or not.
